2 internautes sur 2 ont trouvé ce commentaire utile.Fin en "eau de boudin"Par Hubosc XrisUne très bonne description de l'Amsterdam du XVIIème siècle, du rigorisme religieux issu de la réforme, des marchands de la VOC qui firent la fortune des Pays Bas de cette époque, un bon style, une histoire captivante un peu teintée de Stephen King... et une fin incompréhensible. Je me suis même demandée s'il y avait un tome 2 ? Apparement non ! On ne sait pas qui est la miniaturiste et ce qu'elle est devenu ni le pourquoi de ses créations, on ignore et on ne peut même pas supposer le destin du personnage central et de ses proches. Bref, on reste complètement sur sa faim, une histoire qui se termine complètement en "eau de boudin". S'il s'agit d'une fable philosophique sur la vie humaine comme certains lecteurs semblent l'évoquer, je dois être totalement hermétique à la philosophie. Hormis la partie historique, très décevant.
